Firmware Update
Flash new firmware directly from your browser. The device must be in flash mode â hold the BOOT button while plugging it in, or use the Update Firmware button above.
â ī¸ Windows: USB driver setup required
Windows requires the WinUSB driver for the flash mode interface. Without it, the browser cannot communicate with the device.
- Download and run Zadig
- Put your device in flash mode (hold BOOT while plugging in)
- In Zadig, select Options â List All Devices
- Select "RP2 Boot (Interface 1)" from the dropdown
- Set the driver to WinUSB and click Replace Driver
- Unplug and re-plug the device, then try again
Alternative: You can also flash by dragging the .uf2 file onto the RPI-RP2 drive that appears in File Explorer when in flash mode.
